Our commitment

BusyBuddy is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We work to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and continually improve the user experience for everyone.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML with proper landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer).
  • Keyboard navigation support across all interactive elements.
  • Visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form controls.
  • Descriptive alt text on informational images; empty alt on decorative ones.
  • Labels and ARIA attributes for form inputs and required fields.
  • Color contrast meeting WCAG AA ratios for normal and large text.
  • "Skip to main content" link as the first focusable element on every page.
  • Accessibility reviews integrated into our design and release process.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the product may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Areas we are actively improving:

  • Some complex data tables and charts in the dashboard may have limited screen-reader support; we are adding accessible summaries and alternatives.
  • Third-party embedded content (such as payment checkout and calendar widgets) follows the accessibility of the provider and may vary.
  • Older blog posts and user-uploaded images may lack alt text; new content is reviewed before publishing.

BusyBuddy welcomes feedback on the accessibility of our product. We aim to acknowledge reports within two business days and to resolve issues as quickly as practical.
